The third illustration in the Astrolabe series, exploring the ways the rings could interact with each other. The rings never collide but they can occasionally drift close enough to cause atmospheric disturbances in the form of huge storm fronts that form at the leading edge of the inner ring as it moves close to the outer rings surface. They don't last long and are fairly rare but a hell of a sight.
The other images in the series can be seen in my gallery.
