BRUTAL: Chimera

New piece for my BRUTAL series, exploring Brutalist and horror themes.

Chimera is one of the larger entities in the story, unlike its sister, Nemesis, Chimera resides within the remains of the central reactor core, its explosion resulted in the emergence of the entities.
Chimera is thought to be the first entity to emerge after the cataclysmic event, Nemesis however is thought to have been here for much longer, held deep within an underground facility where the barrier between our dimension and that of the entity was thinnest.

Chimera is much more active than Nemesis, it is the main source of the roaming entity monoliths that blink into existence, seemingly at random, to absorb living forms.
It is not fully known if the humanoid forms erupting from its surface are the bodies of those absorbed by the monoliths or if they are the entities attempts to mimic human form. For what purpose it continues to attempt this mimicry is unknown, but the results are equal parts horrifying and intriguing.
