The Cinder Track: Scene 1

I cycle a lot these days, there is a beautiful route near where I live, an old railway called The Cinder Track, it goes along the coast and over the moors and the views are stunning.
I've taken my fair share of photos during various outings and through various seasons, most recently I went on a ride during a very foggy day and wanted to paint what I saw.
This is the first of a series of quick paintings, 1-2 hours, based on some shots of my trips, an exercise studying tone, colour, and quick single layer painting.

I have taken some minor artistic liberties.
