Star Wars Acolyte: Containment Blaster

I had the great privilege to work on Star Wars: Acolyte as a Set Dec Concept Artist, One of the early tasks was to design the blaster given to Osha.
We went over quite a few ideas, some more robust and makeshift than to others but we settled on a design that had a slightly more elegant look to coupled with a chunky barrel giving it some hefty weight.
We also explored the idea of ammo clips and how it could be reloaded, ultimately we abandoned that idea.
The final blaster for the show was shortened slightly.
